CCL’s Response to COVID-19
Letter from Juliana Gonzalez-Crussi, Executive Director
Dear CCL Community,
As you probably know, COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, is spreading throughout the world.
Center for Changing Lives will be closed to the public from March 17th- April 10th due to COVID-19. We will continue to offer services, including financial and employment coaching and emergency housing assistance funds, remotely.
Unfortunately, our own organizational capacity has been compromised by several cancelled events, including those planned by our generous United Methodist Church community.
We are anticipating a surge of those in need as businesses shut down and people are out of work. We are urgently working to continue services and scale up as much as possible to work remotely without disruption. To do that, we need your help.
This is a critical time for our community, and the organization, and we need your support. Please, if you have any capacity to help consider giving to CCL here:
In the meantime, please be safe:
Practice physical social distancing!
Limit going out in public, limit interacting with others in person and if you do, please put at least six feet of space between yourselves
Check in with your friends and family, build community over the phone and online
Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
Stay tuned on Facebook via the CCL Facebook Page, our Resource Up! Facebook group, and on Instagram and Twitter for updates.
Stay well,
Juliana Gonzalez-Crussi
